Supervision

Supporting your wellbeing, growth and self-development as a professional.

My supervision work is not exclusive to the therapeutic and coaching setting, I also  work in a number of other sectors including primary, secondary and SEN schools, children's homes, celebrants and corporate businesses.

My supervision style has been called collaborative, challenging and nurturing; holding safe space for you to explore your work. I also bring humour to our work!

I bring a coaching approach to our work together so that you can grow and develop. I also believe I am always learning from my supervisees too!

I find many supervisees tend focus on what they could have done differently, so I like to give space for recognising the positive work you’re doing also!

I believe my purpose is to help individuals realise their potential which is one of the many reasons I love my supervision work.

My background in business and having my own private practice means I can also support other therapists in setting up and running theirs too!

Whilst I recognise I am not the 'cheapest' of supervisors, I hope that when you meet me you will see that my passion and background in learning and development means I bring a holistic approach to our work, which I sincerely hope will benefit you in many ways, both personally and professionally.

Supervision is a requirement for ethical practice for those who are members of professional bodies, such as the BACP, UKCP and NCS.

"Supervision is essential to how practitioners sustain good practice throughout their working life. Supervision provides practitioners with regular and ongoing opportunities to reflect in depth about all aspects of their practice in order to work as effectively, safely and ethically as possible. Supervision also sustains the personal resourcefulness required to undertake the work." (BACP Ethical Framework, 201
